The 955 Conference Kit provides excellent sound quality with simple to use technology. Packaged within a portable metal carry case, the solution provides everything needed to capture meetings, interviews and conferences with clarity and ease.
The two channel audio recording offered with the 955 provides crystal clear recording. Designed to allow for 360 degree pick-up, the revolutionary boundary mikes (four included) are easy to set up and boast a plate shaped foot; the perfect conducting surface for enabling sound to reach the microphone. Extendable wire and wire storage facility in the microphone base also ensure the solution is neat and compact. The Conference Microphone has received the IF Product Design award 2008 for its unique appearance and innovative functionality.
All major recording functions can be managed via the remote control included. This maximises flexibility and functionality for the operator.
The system also contains a clip-on two channel stereo microphone, which transforms the Digital Pocket Memo into a fully functional stereo-quality interview recorder, with no additional wires or loose components.
SpeechExec Pro Dictate software is included with the package and allows file routing, editing and archiving of all recordings.
The recording formats offered range from uncompressed audio CD format which delivers DC like audio quality to Professional DSS format ready for transcription. For faster file transfer and reduced network traffic, the system uses the compact DSS/DS2 file encoding format; the most compact voice recording option available on the market. Users can also choose the MP3 format which can be easily distributed and player back by conference participants on their PC or MP3 player.

Transcription
The Philips 955 comes packaged with dictation software permitting the transfer of sound file from recorder to PC. This can then be use to offer playback.
