Utilising push button control for the primary operations on the unit, the DS 2400 offer both DSS standard and DSS pro (high compression, high quality) recording formats in either QP or SP mode. 3 smart buttons and centralised navigation buttons make the unit ergonomic and easy to use.
A large orange back lit screen makes, improved editing facilities (insert, overwrite and partial erase), and optional index marking (up to 32 per file) makes locating data and amending recording quick and easy. Each of the 5 folders can be renamed via the software module included to match user preference.
Removable media in the form of an SD card is supplied and permits up to 157 hours recording time (with option to upgrade). Hardware lock function prevents any accidental usage
The USB2.0 high speed download process improves transfer speed when moving files from recorder to PC or laptop. The unit can also act as mass storage class/hid or audio device to suit purpose. This allows for direct PC dictation via the USB connection
