Key Features
- Accuracy: An accuracy rate of 99% may be achieved using Dragon Version 10
- Speed: People speak much more quickly than they type. In permitting transcription at the speed of speech, the production of emails and documents is made much quicker and easier.
- Avoid Errors: With a vocabulary of over 300, 000 words (all spelled correctly) – making a spelling error is only possible if you amend a word incorrectly or alter what Dragon has presented!
- Voice Commands: Basic voice commands such as the insertion of a signature by voice can now be achieved with the Preferred V10 version. This is ideal for completing complex multi step tasks with a single word or phrase. Note: for more complex commands, control and macro creation, the Professional version of the software may be required.
- Avoid Repetitive Strain Injury: In using speech to control the PC you reduce exposure to repetitive strain injuries. If you suffer arthritis or carpel tunnel syndrome, Dragon will change the way you use the computer
- East to Use: Dragon v10 installs quickly and easily and requires no special script reading. New on screen help and tutorials within the v10 release make you an expert in no time at all!
- Acoustic Adaptation: Software learns and improves with use. Version 10 even conducts continuous acoustic adaptation where a correction is not carried out.
- Compatibility: An indicator on the tool bar displays where packages fully support 'select and say' dragon command
- Functionality: Dictation box now permits the formatting of text

Dragon NaturallySpeaking is also available in a Professional copy. To ensure Preferred is the correct choice for you please check you DO NOT require the below function;
- Third party correction
- Advanced scripting, macros and shortcut command creation
- Roaming profile options or enterprise wide deployment
- Addition of a professional vocabulary (e.g. medial, legal)
- Navigation of the web, databases and office programmes by voice alone

Mobile Dictation
In combining a digital recorder or note taker with speech recognition software it adds an added dimension of flexibility. Rather than limiting dictation to the office or home (sat at the PC or laptop) notes may be recorded onto a mobile device away from the desk. On return to the computer, these files can then be downloaded and run through the Dragon software for automatic transcription.

Input Device
Whilst a standard jack headset microphone is included with a single dragon licence, alternative input devices and higher quality, noise cancelling options are available. VoicePower stock a broad range of handheld, wireless and headset style microphones (including options allowing a switch between PC/laptop and the telephone), all thoroughly tested for their suitability with SR.
