General Practice

The dictation is much clearer than the old tapes. G P's now quite often do letters as soon as they have seen a patient, letters are usually now typed before the end of the surgery giving a really quick service. I am able to select the urgent referrals from routine. Overall I have been impressed with the system after struggling for many years with hard to hear tapes.

Margaret Manson, Leeds City Medical Practice

The professional and friendly support team at VoicePower is second to none; the digital dictation system is extremely user friendly.'

The Histopathology department at Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust have, over the last year, purchased 5 PathSpeak units with VoicePower to help improve reporting time. This allows pathologists to dictate reports directly onto the computer system and to authorise the reports immediately. This has significantly reduced the delay between reporting and authorising reports.

We have been very impressed with the efficiency of the VoicePower staff, from those dealing with initial enquires and orders to the technical support who made the training sessions very valuable. The availability of technical support after the initial training was particularly helpful.

VoicePower Ltd Ltd. of Otley, West Yorkshire, has been the prime supplier, installer and trainer of the voice recognition systems (PathSpeak/Dragon Naturally Speaking) in the Cellular Pathology Department at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust over the last 18 months. In my opinion we have had extremely good technical support and training which has been provided by helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff, prepared to do "that bit more" to ensure their product/installation meets the customer's expectations. This is to be commended. They have also assisted greatly in adapting voice recognition macros to automate the Pathologist's interaction with the CoPath system.
